Philips recently released its latest smartphone, dubbed as the Philips W8560. Last week, its first sale happens on a mall in China. Philips did first announced its W8510, but it isnt successful on making an appeal with consumers as its specifications are not really outstanding. Now, the real flagship has arrived, the Philips W8560.
One of the main features of the Philips W8560 is its long-standby, thanks to its 3300mAh battery capacity. Its a 5-inch phone with Full HD resolution, an OGS and IPS display, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protected, and is equipped with the quad-core MT6589T processor. The Philips W8560 also uses something they called as BQ flash charging technology, which promises a 2-hour charge time for its ginormous 3300mAh battery.
It is packed with 2GB RAM and a 32GB ROM on board which is still expandable with a microSD card of up top 32GB in capacity. There is a 13 megapixels shooter on the rear and a 5MP snapper on front. The main camera is made of a sapphire lens, with F2.2 aperture, back-side illuminated (BSI), picture taking while in video feature, and a face enhancement function.
The Philips W8560 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It has support for WCDMA + GSM dual SIM-dual standby, built-in compass and other sensors. The Philips W8560 is design with a business-feel for its exterior, curved sides and an overall dimensions of 144x73x10.7 mm. It weighs just about 158g. There is also a dedicated power-saving swich which you can find on the right side of the Philips W8560.
